$10.00 Processing Fee (cash only) due at time of registration.

Everyone must register, including returning students. You must register in person. If you wish to enroll at multiple centers, it is strongly recommended that you go to each center to register as in-person registrations are given priority.

Enrollment packets will be available at registration. No other paperwork is needed except a birth certificate copy for children ages 6-7.

Students must have turned three or six by September 1, 2018. If your child is 6-7 years old, a copy of their birth certificate is required at registration.

Monday and Wednesday (must attend both days)
4:15-5:25pm Preparatory Youth Modern (recommended for ages 8-13)

Tuesday and Thursday (must attend both days)
4:15-5:30pm Releve Program- ages 8-11 with at least two years of prior training and must attend evaluation classes on August 28 AND August 30. Attending these classes does not guarantee participation in the program.

11:45am-12:45pm Preparatory A Wee Dance (recommended for ages 3-4) FULL
9:30-10:15am Preparatory A Wee Dance (recommended for ages 3-4) FULL
How to dress for the Wee Class: comfortable clothing a dancer can move freely in and bare feet.

The Early Childhood Dance Program is designed for children ages 3 - 5 years of age who want to experience dance independently. Children will be exposed to a variety of music, exercises, and stretches that aim to develop balance, rhythm, creativity and self-awareness. Early Childhood Dance students explore basic dance elements (space, time and energy) through NOBA’s Moving 4 Health curriculum that focuses on arts integration and nutrition concepts.

* Class locations and schedules are subject to change.

* No audition or prior dance experience necessary.

* Classes are tuition-free and open to all children 6-14.

* Students are placed in the appropriate class based on both age and experience level.

What to Wear
Girls: Black Leotard, Black Leggings, Bare Feet
Boys: White T-Shirt, Black Tights, Bare Feet

Girls: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Split-Sole Ballet Shoes
Boys: White T-Shirt, Black Tights, Black Split-Sole Ballet Shoes

Hair: Hair must be neatly pulled back in a bun; no ponytails are allowed.

Students WILL NOT be allowed to participate in class without the required dance attire and neat hair.

December 17-20, 2018 - ALL students returning and new must register
January 21, 2019: Martin Luther King Day, no classes
Week of Feb. 4, 2019: Open Studio Days
February 27 – March 8, 2019: Mardi Gras break, no classes
April 14- April 21 2019: Spring break, no classes
April 30 – May 1, 2019: Lyons Spring Dance Concerts (6:30pm each night)
May 19, 2019: Spring Dance Concert at Tulane’s Dixon Hall featuring Pre-Professional students (7:00pm)
