January 19 – Compañia Nacional de Danza Reception, The Cabildo, 6:30-8:30pm Join dignitaries and the artists from Spain as we launch the renowned dance company’s North American tour. This exclusive soirée honors the deep-rooted historical and cultural connections between New Orleans and Spain. Revel in the enchanting ambiance as you savor a Spanish-inspired culinary, including delectable tapas, crafted cocktails, and Spanish wines. VIP patrons will enjoy an intimate pre-party at 5:30pm with dignitaries at the iconic Pontalba building, hosted by Glen and Marilyn Smith.
February 20 – Benefactor Dinner, The Windsor Court Hotel, 6:00pm: Join us for an opulent evening as we pay tribute to Charlotte Bollinger, an outstanding NOBA board member and former chair, for her unwavering dedication to the organization. Hosted by The Windsor Court Hotel, this affair begins with a glamorous cocktail reception in the elegant Le Salon. In the Chinoiserie Room on the 23rd floor, savor a sumptuous three-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Vlad Kogan. Be part of the excitement with a live auction and cherished gifts generously provided by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, ensuring you take home a piece of the magic.
March 1 – Exclusive, Intimate Presentation of Les Ballets de Monte’s Carlo’s LAC (Swan Lake) in a Rare Behind-the-Scenes Experience, Mahalia Jackson Theater, 6:30pm: Prepare to be captivated like never before as NOBA takes you behind the curtain for the first time in our history with a mesmerizing presentation of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo’s LAC, a visually stunning and expertly danced masterpiece reimagining Swan Lake. Witness the artistry that goes into each performance as the curtain opens at 7pm before the 7:30pm show and during intermission, revealing the enchanting world of stagecraft – changing of the sets, dancers warming up, stagehands at work, and more. Dressed in black and white (feathers encouraged!), ascend the front steps of the theater to the lobby, where you will enjoy open bar and food. Your evening will be enriched with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in an open-seating theater format. When the final curtain falls, indulge in champagne, delectable desserts, music, and more with the artists.
