NOBA continues to follow local, state and federal health and safety guidelines during this COVID-19 pandemic.  


Per City of New Orleans mandate, all individuals ages 12 and up are required to show proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test within the past 72 hours to enter establishments with a high risk of COVID-19 transmission, including facilities where NOBA classes take place. Masks are required for all NOBA classes and activities.

In-Person/Virtual Freedom of Movement for Veterans

Creative, guided movement classes for Veterans, set to music by local artists! Seated and wheelchair based Veteran participants are welcome.

At Home, Live Streamed Classes on Zoom!

NOBA's Evening Series of Dance for Parkinson’s classes are geared for young onset, newly diagnosed participants, including those who are still working full time and looking for a more rigorous and challenging pace. Classes are set to live music, and participants will experience the joy of creative movement in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. These classes are also open to partners, friends and family members.

Challenge and strengthen your technique and artistry through these intermediate/advanced level ballet and Graham classes, led by NOBA Master Artist and former Dance Theatre of Harlem principal dancer Donald Williams and NOBA Instructor Corey Melancon. Limited spaces are available for in-person classes.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR IN-PERSON OPEN COMMUNITY CLASSES FOR AGES 14+ :

Class capacity is limited, and filled on a first-come, first served drop-in basis at this time. Ages 14 and up only. Registration steps 1 and 2 must be completed prior to taking a class.

1) Complete & submit the NOBA Open Community Classes Enrollment Form for ages 14+ ONLINE HERE.

2) NORD COVID-19 Liability Waiver and Release form - Must bring or complete onsite signed copy of form prior to first class. NORD forms may also be submitted in advance by e-mail to mwhite@nobadance.com  Links to downloadable forms are below.

These classes are by donation (suggested donation amount: $5.00-$10.00 per class). Donations may be made online HERE. All donation proceeds support NOBA's tuition-free dance, fitness and wellness programs.


Participants who register for virtual classes agree to all terms and conditions as outlined in the NOBA Virtual Classes Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement. Full agreement HERE.
