Fidelity Bank Giving Center & Round Up to Give Donations
NOBA is grateful to be a Community Partner of Fidelity Bank, and it is now eligible to receive donations from Fidelity Bank. With Fidelity Bank, turn everyday purchases into local impact through an innovative online Giving Center. Fidelity Bank customers have the option to select NOBA as a preferred charity directly from their online bank accounts in Fidelity’s Giving Center and make one-time or monthly contributions. Customers are also able to elect to round up everyday purchases to support NOBA, and it is easy to tailor donations to ensure giving goals are not exceeded. The customer can then track their impact and receive a donation report for tax purposes.
Round Up to Give: Donate to NOBA, a Fidelity Bank Community Partner
Make every purchase matter. With Round Up to Give, your spare change is donated to Fidelity Bank Community Partners, local nonprofits dedicated to making a positive impact in your community. Simply set up your account to round up each purchase, and your extra change will go directly to a nonprofit partner of your choice, like NOBA—no need to visit a branch. This program is exclusive to Fidelity Community Partners, giving local nonprofits like NOBA an added benefit of banking with Fidelity. You can easily round up your card purchases and adjust your settings anytime in the Fidelity Bank app or online banking.
You can choose how you wish to make an impact with your purchases through Round Up to Give. Simply select NOBA from the list of Fidelity Community Partners. You can change your preferences anytime. With each qualifying purchase, you can round up your purchase to the nearest dollar and donate the spare change to support NOBA. With the Giving Center, you can track your contributions in one place and get an annual donation report for tax purposes.
RoundUp-For Visa and Mastercard Holders
“RoundUp” was purpose-built to help nonprofits like NOBA. In a nutshell, RoundUp automatically rounds up each transaction on your Visa or Mastercard to the nearest dollar, then charges your card once per month for the total amount of that ’spare change’, and sends the proceeds to us.
How it works:
- Follow this link: https://www.roundup.org/nonprofit/la/new-orleans/new-orleans-ballet-association?utm_medium=manual&utm_source=link
- Select the credit card you want to enroll (any U.S. Visa or Mastercard)
- Set a maximum monthly donation (optional)
That’s it! Sign up takes less than 1 minute. Millions of people are rounding up at the grocery store every day to support charities they don’t even know very well. Now you can direct your roundups to us here at NOBA, knowing with confidence how your spare change is being used. Once enrolled, you’ll get a tax deduction receipt for your donations, and you’ll have an opportunity to invite others to support NOBA.
Matching Gifts
The impact of your gift to NOBA may be doubled or possible tripled! Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that will match any charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees, and/or spouses. In example, you can find NOBA on the Benevity Causes Portal for corporate matching gifts, volunteer opportunities, grants, and employee giving.
Gifts of Stock
NOBA gratefully accepts gifts of stock valued at any amount. Often times, a gift of appreciated stock may significantly reduce your capital gains tax while creating a larger charitable deduction.
In-Kind Gifts
Help us reduce our costs through the donation of non-cash gifts delivered in the forms of goods, services, or expertise. Some examples include office supplies; uniform needs for students with expressed need, such as leotards, tights, and shoes, and dance costumes for performances–all provided for use free of cost; bottled water and healthy snacks for students as well as meals for students and/or Main Stage artists for performance days; art, jewelry, accessories, restaurant, hotel, spa, and other gift certificates for silent auctions or raffles at BRAVO’s fundraising events; and pro bono services such as catering, photography and videography, or graphic design.
Planned Gifts, Naming Opportunities, and Endowment Gifts
A planned gift represents the ultimate gift from one’s estate, including simple bequests in one’s will, charitable remainder trusts, unitrusts, charitable lead trusts, and gifts of insurance. These gift vehicles offer attractive benefits that might include an income for life for the donor or a designated beneficiary, a significant charitable tax-deduction or the ability to reduce the taxable portion of one’s estate while having the satisfaction of making a charitable gift. NOBA recommends you speak with your financial advisor to develop the best method that will complement your estate’s needs.
Your gift can keep giving through major gifts in your name to a capital campaign for bricks and mortar, commissions of new artistic works, dedicated scholarships for youth programs and investments in NOBA’s endowment held at the Greater New Orleans Foundation.
