NOBA’s tuition-free programs for youth extend beyond the school year into a kaleidoscope of summer dance and fitness camps in partnership with NORD and other community organizations.

In-Person/Virtual Ballet (Intermediate/Advanced) for ages 14 and up

In-Person/Virtual Graham Modern Technique (Intermediate/Advanced) for ages 14 and up

**Classes are also available virtually, and will be live-streamed via Zoom from in-person classes at the Lyons Center. See below for instructions on how to register for in-person and or virtual classes.

Challenge and strengthen your technique and artistry through these intermediate/advanced level ballet and Graham classes, led by NOBA Master Artist and former Dance Theatre of Harlem principal dancer Donald Williams and Corey Melancon. Limited spaces are available for in-person classes.


Following the completion of all required NOBA and NORD forms and waivers found in the links below, participants will receive a link to pre-register via Eventbrite for in-person classes. Pre-registration is required for each in-person class session, which is filled on a first come, first served basis. No walk-up registration is permitted at this time.

All steps below must be completed by a parent/guardian if the applicant is under the age of 18.

These classes are by donation (suggested donation amount: $5.00 per class). Donations may be made online HERE. All donation proceeds support NOBA's tuition-free dance, fitness and wellness programs.

Pre-Professional, Bridge and Relevé Programs

Ages 8-18

Audition required & two years prior training recommended.

These tuition-free programs provide motivated students ages 8 to 18 with intensive instruction in ballet, pointe, modern, repertoire, and other dance forms, and unprecedented opportunities to study with world-renowned artists through the Master Artist Series. Spring in-person classes will be held weekly between January - May 2021 at NORD partner locations throughout the New Orleans area. To see a list of program descriptions and schedules, click here.
